Stamford Museum & Nature Center Auction
Greenwich, CT - Greenwich born artist, Robert Deyber, known for creating paintings that are clever visual renderings of common phrases, has donated a 30” x 30” acrylic on canvas work titled “Bird Call” to the Stamford Museum and Nature Center for their live auction taking place on June 6, 2008.
This is the second time that Mr. Deyber has donated a work to the museum. In 2006, he donated the painting, Sitting Duck, which sold well above its estimated bid range.
Megan McLain, Director of Development for the museum, has stated that she expects well over 400 attendees for the live auction as well as spirited bidding on the Deyber painting.
